Pszczyna Castle has existed since at least the 15th century – it was during this period that a documented Hussite invasion took place, which the building successfully withstood. It changed hands frequently, as evidenced by the exhibitions inside.

At the Pszczyna Castle Museum, you can see, among other things:
− 19th/20th-century interiors,
− the armory,
− the Prince's Stables,
− the Polish Room named after Prince Józef Poniatowski,
− an exhibition of miniatures.

Temporary exhibitions are also held.

An audio guide is available on-site. On free days (Tuesdays), it costs 6 PLN (additional 2 PLN for headphones is required, or you can bring your own). On other days, device rental costs 10 or 12 PLN.

To listen to the recordings on your phone, search for the "Audioguide Pszczyna Castle Museum" app, available on Google Play and the App Store. You can download it in advance and then activate it at the ticket office for 6 PLN.

Admission to the museum is free every Tuesday. Only the Kaiser Wilhelm II apartment and some of the rooms on the first floor are open on this day. The number of free tickets is limited. On other days, reservations are required.

Please note that castle tours last at least one hour. Visitors enter well before the Castle Museum closes.

It's worth checking the website for last admission times. The castle closes earlier outside the summer season.
