Bażantarnia is a historic forest park established in 1811, located on the edge of the Elbląg Upland, covering 369 hectares. It's a place for a peaceful stroll amidst greenery. Here, you can get closer to nature with your family, children, or partner.

The Pheasantry was and is a unique place in Elbląg. Its dense forests, mainly beech and hornbeam, have remained unchanged for a long time. In the buffer zone of the Bażantarnia forest there is the picturesquely situated Chrobrego Mountain. It is worth climbing this peak to admire the beautiful panorama of Elbląg and the surrounding area. If the weather is good, we will see the waters of the Vistula Lagoon.

The main tourist attractions and monuments are: Bandshell, Abbega Palace, Myśliwska Restaurant, Zakrzewski Mill, Umbrella.

In Pheasantry you can plan your tourist route:
Red trail - "Kopernikowski": On the section in Bażantarnia, it starts at the "Chrobry" Rope Park. The length of the trail is 3 km and the average walking time is approx. 1 hour.
Blue trail - "Circular": Difficult, very difficult in places. The length of this section is 7.9 km and the average walking time is approx. 2.5 hours.
Green trail - "Lizard Path": Its beginning is at the trail junction, in front of Myśliwska restaurant. Trail length - 6.3 km, average walking time - approx. 2 hours.
Yellow trail - "Okólny": It begins at the natural monument, next to the bridge on the Kumieli River. It ends its run in front of the Myśliwska restaurant. The trail is described as easy, its length is 7.3 km, and the average walking time is approx. 2 hours.

It is possible to use the paid service of preparing a bonfire at the shelter (i.e. providing wood and lighting a bonfire, cleaning work). The fee is charged when ZZM orders the preparation of a bonfire. An application for a shelter reservation must be submitted at least 3 days before the planned date of the bonfire.
